Flexible Plywood Usage and Storage Features

Store the sheets in a flat, clean, shaded, and dry place. Flexible plywood pieces will retain their shape after being glued and dried. If laminate or veneer is to be bonded to the sheets, it can be applied while the panels are initially being shaped or after they have been shaped. Veneer or laminate should be bonded after the sheets have been given the desired shape, using adhesives such as contact adhesive. If desired, the veneer or laminate can be pressed together with the flexible plywood pieces. Bend the sheets several times before bonding. Any suitable wood adhesive can be used for bonding. The sheets must be transported on a flat surface. A single sheet may be transported rolled up, but it should not remain in that position for a long time. To allow the sheets to adapt to the conditions of their environment, they should be kept in the environment where they will be used for 24 hours before processing.

Flexible Plywood Application

Flexible plywood sheets should be handled and bent several times before use. Bending allows the panels to be shaped easily. Pieces are cut to the desired dimensions and bent several times before use. This increases their flexibility. The pieces are then fixed with simple machines or basic fasteners used in woodworking. You can join them using a suitable wood adhesive. Flexible plywood pieces will retain their shape after being glued and dried. If you want to apply laminate or veneer to the plywood, it can be applied while the sheets are being shaped or after shaping. Flexible plywood sheets should be bonded with suitable adhesives after being given the desired shape. If desired, veneer or laminate can be pressed together with flexible plywood pieces. Any finishing process can be applied to flexible plywood panels after shaping. With flexible plywood, you can achieve easy and fast results in curved work, especially in areas requiring tight radii, and create furniture at the limits of your imagination. It is important that our flexible plywood is kept at a suitable room temperature and humidity level. The desired temperature is 27 C at 65% humidity.
