METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The personal data shared by individuals who contact PETRA WOOD through the website regarding the products offered by PETRA WOOD and via info@petrawood.com, in connection with applications, suggestions, and complaints, is processed by PETRA WOOD under the following conditions, based on the legitimate interest of PETRA WOOD in performing the contracts to which it is a party, maintaining its commercial activities, identifying requests and complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be processed by PETRA WOOD for the following purposes within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:

1. Responding to questions, requests, and applications and contacting the relevant individual when necessary,

2. Receiving and responding to customer complaints,

3. Fulfilling notification obligations to relevant public institutions and organizations, notaries, courts, and public prosecutors' offices,

4. Providing information upon request by judicial and administrative authorities,

5. Fulfilling all other legal obligations.

TO WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES PERSONAL DATA MAY BE TRANSFERRED

Your personal data may be transferred, where necessary for PETRA WOOD to maintain its commercial activities and for the purposes stated above, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to:

1. Relevant departments of our company and, where legal proceedings require, the attorneys of PETRA WOOD,

2. Judicial and administrative authorities and legally authorized public institutions and organizations.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT AND METHOD OF EXERCISING THESE RIGHTS

The data subject (“Data Subject”) may submit a written application containing their rights and requests under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law by sending it via notary public to İkitelli Keresteciler Sitesi, 4th Street, No: 8, Başakşehir/Istanbul, or by submitting it to info@petrawood.com with a secure electronic signature.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK No. 6698, everyone has the right to apply to PETRA WOOD, in its capacity as the data controller, regarding the following matters:

Everyone may apply to the data controller and request information concerning themselves regarding:

a) Whether their personal data has been processed,

b) Information regarding the processing of their personal data, if it has been processed,

c) The purpose of processing their personal data and whether such data is used in accordance with this purpose,

ç) The third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred, either domestically or internationally,

d) Correction of their personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

e) Deletion or destruction of their personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of Law No. 6698,

f) Notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

g) Objecting to the occurrence of a result against the individual where the processed data is analyzed exclusively through automated systems,

ğ) Requesting compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.

Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, I hereby acknowledge and declare that I have read, reviewed, evaluated, and understood the information provided on the website regarding the processing and transfer of any personal information I have provided to PETRA WOOD.

I hereby consent to PETRA WOOD, in its capacity as the Data Controller, recording, storing, retaining, updating where required by law, and processing my personal data in its systems for the reasons, purposes, and methods explained in the information form/clarification text available at www.petrawood.com, in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and the obligations regarding data retention, reporting, and notification imposed by legal authorities.

I further acknowledge and consent that, where permitted by applicable legislation and within the legal limits, my personal data may be disclosed to and/or transferred to third parties located in Türkiye or abroad, and that my personal data may in all cases be processed in the ways specified under the Personal Data Protection Law.

I hereby acknowledge and consent that PETRA WOOD may transfer my personal data to its affiliates located in Türkiye and to official authorities, and that I have been adequately and comprehensively informed and duly notified before the processing of my personal data. Accordingly, I freely consent to the foregoing and hereby acknowledge, declare, and undertake my consent to these matters.
